The Tactical Rapid Assault Vehicle TRAV is a tactical attack and defense vehicle designed to serve in extreme climate conditions. It is a unique TRAV in terms of technical specifications, design and assembly. A truly innovative approach was taken when designing the vehicle utilizing the best engineering solutions implemented in previous models. The new TRAV is characterized by a high level of off-road performance and maneuverability. With a heavy duty truck chassis, this vehicle remains reliable in the most demanding conditions, thanks to custom-designed components upgraded to provide increased weight capacity and reliability.

The Tactical Rapid Assault Vehicle TRAV can be equipped with dual protective layers ensuring its passengers safety from both ballistic as well as blast attacks. The advanced armoring materials provide protection against 7.62×51 SC ammunition, 7.62×51 M80 NATO Ball ammunition and tested to meet NIJ-STD-0108.01 Level III as well as CEN Level BR7 ballistic standards.

The Tactical Rapid Assault Vehicle TRAV is designed to be used by military forces, SWAT, and other law enforcement agencies all over the world. Among other security features, this model can be equipped with an escape hatch, siren/PA system, emergency lights package, electronic military system as well as external view cameras providing 360o F.O.V

Armor Protection

Custom designed, chassis-mounted body. The vehicle’s body incorporates heat and noise insulation materials providing superior comfort level to its occupants. Armoring of passenger compartment to provide protection in accordance with EN 1063: BR7. **see table below**

Floor is fitted with blast protection to protect occupants against fragmentation from detonation of 2 DM-51 German ordnance hand grenades or equivalent light anti-personnel mines. Additional floor protection (V-hull design). Vehicle body is fully encapsulated to provide armor protection to occupants at all points. Armor consists of all welded ballistic grade steel construction. The interior frame, constructed of ballistic grade steel, provides overlap and backup protection for the large-surface principal impact areas such as the doors and windows. Structural reinforcement of the support pillars and other areas that are crucial to maintaining vehicle safety in any circumstance, including rollover and ramming situations.

Full Perimeter armoring offering 360 ° coverage within passenger compartment using certified ballistic steel plating.

All opaque armoring materials used in the vehicle are of the highest quality and certified to exceed ballistic levels.
