Having been built on a Freightliner M2106 RVC chassis makes this vehicle a sound choice for armoring. Custom engineered by West Armor, this armored riot control vehicle is a world-class crowd dispersal tool.

Being both super manueverable and fully armored, this vehicle offers law enforcement personnel piece of mind while driving straight into harms way. Powered by a monster Cummins diesel engine pumping out 305 horses and a whopping 1084 ft-lbs of torque allows a driver to push stationary vehicles out of the way with ease. Equipped with high pressure water pumps with regulated nozzle pressure, chemical additive tanks, a fire extinguishing system, adjustable-height ram-bumper to clear heavier obstacles and surveillance equipment with recording capability, makes this riot control vehicle very versatile.

The vehicle’s ballistic design and special armor protection are aimed to maximize its ability to protect passengers in any environment and allow the vehicle to endure high levels of attacks while maintaining its full performance. Riot Control Water Cannon Vehicle perimeter armoring of the passenger compartment and engine bay is designed to provide protection against 7.62×51 SC ammunition, 7.62×51 M80 NATO Ball ammunition and tested to meet NIJ-STD-0108.01 Level III / CEN Level B6 ballistic standards. The floor is fitted with blast protection to defend occupants against fragmentation from detonation of 2 DM-51 German ordnance hand grenades or equivalent light anti-personnel mines. Each armor plate is laboratory tested and certified not only by West Armor, but also by third party laboratories as required by law. The length of the vehicle as well as other critical characteristics such as a roof-mounted gun turret can be customized in order to meet the requirements of each customer.

Armor Protection

Custom designed, chassis-mounted body. The vehicle’s body incorporates heat and noise insulation materials providing superior comfort level to its occupants. Armoring of passenger compartment to provide protection in accordance with EN 1063: BR6. **see table below**

Floor is fitted with blast protection to protect occupants against fragmentation from detonation of 2 DM-51 German ordnance hand grenades or equivalent light anti-personnel mines.  Additional floor protection (V-hull design). Vehicle body is fully encapsulated to provide armor protection to occupants at all points. Armor consists of all welded ballistic grade steel construction. The interior frame, constructed of ballistic grade steel, provides overlap and backup protection for the large-surface principal impact areas such as the doors and windows. Structural reinforcement of the support pillars and other areas that are crucial to maintaining vehicle safety in any circumstance, including rollover and ramming situations.

Glass Armoring

The Bullet Resistant Glass installed on the vehicle provides the same level of protection as the rest of the unit .

Bullet resistant glass is the made with the highest quality, meeting the latest industry standards for:

Opaque Armoring Details

Full Perimeter armoring offering 360 ° coverage within passenger compartment using certified ballistic steel plating.

All opaque armoring materials used in the vehicle are of the highest quality and certified to exceed ballistic levels.

Overlapped apertures with bullet catchers in door/window are to prevent penetration from bullets.
